Collection: Exfoliate

Exfoliation is the removal of dead skin cells from the skin's surface. This can be achieved either by using a chemical or granular (physical) substance, or a mechanical tool. The skin naturally sheds dead skin cells around every 30 days, but sometimes a little help doesn't hurt.

Regular exfoliation helps your other skincare products penetrate deeper. It also keeps pores unclogged (acne prevention), evens skin tone, boosts circulation, and reduces appearance of fine lines.

Over-exfoliation can damage the outer layer of skin. Signs of over-exfoliation irritation, burning, redness, inflammation, breakouts (small pimples), or increased sensitivity to the other products in your routine.

To avoid over-exfoliation, dry skin types shouldn't exfoliate more than once a week, while oily skin types not more than 2-3 times a week.
