Collection: Moisturize
Oils are rich in emollients and and provide deep nourishment. They contain a high concentration of essential fatty acids (the building blocks of your skin's surface layers) and vitamins. They are recommended for people with dry or dull skin, however, there are oils suitable for those with oily skin (such as prickly pear seed oil).
Moisturizers are a combination of both oil and water-soluble nutrients. They lock in moisture to ensure the skin maintains enough hydration. If the skin does not have enough moisture, dryness or oiliness can occur. Maintaining the skin's moisture balance is important in preventing premature aging. Moisturizing creams are best suited for dry skin. Those with oily skin benefit the most from moisturizing fluids or lotions, which are lighter than creams.
