How to use

Gentle and easy to layer for even better tolerance

Retinol is a bit tricky for me because my skin is so reactive, but I can use a few drops of this blended with a pea-sized amount of a richer cream three times a week with no issues at all. I always use it at night and don’t combine it with any other actives, nor do it use it on the same day as a deeper cleansing like clay mask or sugar scrub.
I don’t think everyone has to be quite so careful with it, it’s a great formula and I think many people will tolerate it well on its own, but like all retinol, you should start *slow* to avoid reactions, and if you have sensitive skin I’d consider using the “sandwich” method (where it’s applied between two other gentler, maybe richer and soothing products).
Regardless, this is the only retinol serum I feel safe using and I love how much it improves my skin texture even in small quantities!
I also love that the scent is so delicate, unlike many other retinol serums on the market.
