Collection: Enlarged Pores
It is normal and necessary to have pores. Without them, we wouldn't be able to sweat and that would be a disaster. Pores are good!
Enlarged pores, however, are a common skin concern and leave many feeling self-conscious. Enlarged pores are most noticeable in the T-zone (forehead, nose, chin) and those with oily and combination skin are most likely to have them because they produce more oil, hence larger pores.
What to do: Stop using comedogenic (pore-clogging) skincare products. Using an exfoliant like BHA twice a week prevents oil from accumulating and enlarging the pores. Do not over-exfoliate though, as this can cause the skin to react by producing even more oil. Use clay masks as they absorb excess sebum. Products with niacinamide can help tighten pores and reduce their appearance. Finally, don't forget your SPF! UV rays damage your skin cells and distort the pores.
